The few times I've seend "an error during the move data process", it's been related to long file names in either the source (where setup.exe is running) or the destination. 04-18-2006 8:21 AM In reply to jschexna Joined on 11-05-2001 Posts 2,924 Re: an error occurred during move data process Reply Contact Contact Platinum but here are some other items to check. If the install comes in a ZIP file, unpack it with the, usually, -D option to maintain the same folder layout. Also place these unzipped files into a hidden temp folder, a folder NOT in the Path.Try a reboot just before installing. If some item is in memory because it was in use, then it cannot be overwritten. For example if Smulock.dll was in use and didn't unload, you can get an error when install tries to copy it.Edited by - john@johnschexnaydre.com on 04/18/2006 08:23:01 AM Page 1 of 1 (3 items) 800.287.4383 | Privacy Policy | Terms & Conditions © 2013 Actian Corporation. Cause This message is displayed when a Shelby v.5 file is in use. In most cases, this means that someone did not exit the Shelby v.5 programs before you attempted to install the update. Resolution If you log into Shelby v.5as the system supervisor you can see what logins are active and get that individual to exit the software.
