I get this error message: Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file. Method: Move. I thought it might be a folder permissions issue, but I don't know what folder it saves these images to. I pretty much maxed out the permissions on all folders I found that held images and that didn't work. I believe the installation when OK. I hope someone has a quick and easy answer for this one. Thanks! Oh, as a last note, the images are not showing up from the existing gallery. I have checked the folder and all the images are there. I'm thinking that there is a setting that I have missed that is not telling CB where to store the images and where to find the gallery folder for the existing images. Where would I find that setting? Sorry, I keep updating. I tried to reinstall CB and I got this error message: /var/www/vhosts/weeklybanter.com/httpdocs/images/comprofiler/gallery/ Failed to be to be created, please do so manually ! Manually do the following: 1.) create /var/www/vhosts/weeklybanter.com/httpdocs/images/comprofiler/ directory 2.) chmod it to 755 or if needed to 775 3.) create /var/www/vhosts/weeklybanter.com/httpdocs/images/comprofiler/gallery/ 4.) chmod it to 755 or if needed to 775 5.) copy /var/www/vhosts/weeklybanter.com/httpdocs/components/com_comprofiler/images/gallery/ and its contents to /var/www/vhosts/weeklybanter.com/httpdocs/images/comprofiler/gallery/ I followed all the instructions and it still does not work. I don't know why It has these errors in the first place. I hope this gives enough information for help. Thanks! I tried adding an .htaccess file to error occurred raise the filesize limits, but GoDaddy didn't allow the lines I wrote in. I added php5.ini and php.ini files to raise the limits, but even with exorbitantly high limits, it didn't work. I was getting frustrated. Nothing would upload. I thought it was a C5 issue. You may be familiar with the message: "An unknown error occurred while uploading the file. Please check that file uploads are enabled, and error occurred during that your file does not exceed the size of the post_max_size or upload_max_filesize variables." It's a PHP5 issue. Here's what you need to know: In your php5.ini file, you do need to make sure your filesize limits are high enough and that file_uploads is set to "on", but much more importantly, you need to ensure that upload_tmp_dir is set to "/tmp/". I don't know if it's a GoDaddy thing (probably, I've had many bad experiences with them) or a PHP5 thing, but I didn't know that it no longer has a default value. It usually does. Anyway, that's it! It's the most trivial thing. It took hours of digging to find the answer buried in a forum about PHP. Hopefully I save some people a bit of trouble. curtis07Date Joined: 02/12/12Karma: 775Answers:0Bio:View Profile View Replies: Threaded Chronological (Earliest First) Chronological (Recent First) shotrox replied on Mar 11, 2012 at 6:13 pm Permalink Reply Hi Curtis I just had a similar issue and could not solve it as I cannot find the php5.ini on my server.
