For a start, this is a common error you will get from the stored proc stage unless you set it up (pass all parameters and all with right datatypes etc.) correctly. You have to check and re-check every property you are setting within the stage. _________________It took me fifteen years to discover I had no talent for ETL, but I couldn't give it up because by that time I was too famous. So here is my post. I am trying to import an XML file in a parallel job which has been generated using http://66.34.129.47/viewtopic.php?t=147426&sid=6b30210093e47e66b96ad49742f8b762 the IAAdmin utility. I use the following stages in my job - External Source -> XML Input -> Sequential file In my external source I have Source Program property set to the following - find F:\data\ -name "getproject.xml" -print which returns F:/data/getproject.xml (Notice the change in slash direction?) I used the wizard (Import -> Table definitions -> XML table definitions) to generate the table definition for my XML file. I selected "Auto check" there. Next on my XML input stage, I have the folowing boxes checked on my Transformation Settings. "Repetition element required" and "Replace Nulls with empty values". Also Include namespace declaration is checked and I loaded the table definition that I had previously saved using the wizard. I have the following text in that text box. xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:iaapi="http://www.ibm.com/investigate/api/iaapi" Output tab, I imported the table definition I'd earlier saved for the XML file. Job failes with a fatal error of XML_I
