How about from a cmd.exe started from cygwin, i.e. cygstart cmd? –Miserable Variable Mar 6 '14 at 21:19 So does the locale file exist? Can you show us what your current environment (env command output) variables are set to (not just $SYBASE)? –Michael Gardner Mar 7 '14 at 2:49 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote I found that if I run unset LANG before running isql, then isql works as expected. share|improve this answer answered Sep 8 '14 at 10:38 UnlimitedInfinity 803 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. The server cannot continue and will shut down. From what I interprete it, there is not enough shared memory available. How do I make more shared memory available ?
