When you are setting up the connector between http://blog.coretech.dk/mas/troubleshooting-an-error-occurred-when-creating-the-wsus-signing-certificate-secunia/ Secunia CSI and WSUS one of the first things the wizard is asking you to do is to Configure a WSUS Self-Signed Certificate, the WSUS signing certificate is required to create and install local packages. Without it, only packages from Microsoft Update will be installed. How-ever this time I got this error when trying to ‘Automatically create and install certificate' during the Connector Wizard: An error occurred when creating the WSUS Signing Certificate Now this error would probably not appear on Windows Server 2012 or earlier editions and the reason why is that Microsoft has disabled the feature in Windows Server 2012 R2 (the platform I am using). This is because and I quote (The WSUS Product Team) “We disabled this feature because it was causing a significant management burden for those using the feature, and it duplicated functionality that already exists in Windows Server Certificate Services (and other products)”. The good thing is that it has an easy quick fix or workaround. G

The error occurred history is that I had 2 vobs created and then I had removed those vobs and recreated them. I am not sure if the error is due to that. But How do I fix this error. I tried looking up to see which vob is referenced by this uuid but I am unable to find it. ClearCase: Error: Unable to find replica in registry for VOB with object ID:"c8421ede.c19811e3.9827.6c:41:6a:1f:57:06" ClearCase: Error: Unable to locate versioned object base with object id: error occurred when "c8421ede.c19811e3.9827.6c:41:6a:1f:57:06". clearcase clearcase-ucm share|improve this question edited Apr 15 '14 at 6:33 VonC 626k19018011886 asked Apr 14 '14 at 20:55 user3533610 202 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote It depends on how you removed and recreated those vobs. If you have only deleted a vob tag and unregister, you can add a vob back with mkvob, or with mktab -vob + register -vob. In your case, an "Unable to find replica in registry" should mean: either the Vob hasn't been properly registered again. or it references an Admin vob (with UCM, typically the PVob) which hasn't been added yet (as in this technote) You can check the vobs tags and ooid in the Vob registry (also detailed in this article). share|improve this answer answered Apr 14 '14 at 21:10 VonC 626k19018011886 I added the vob back with cleartool mkvob -tag commmand. The vobs that were removed had ucm components too. I ended up removing those too and adding them back. We are using INTEROP environment. I checked the vob with the command cleartool lsvob and it seem to be pointing to the correct pvob –user3533610 Apr 14 '14 at 21:27 Okay. It looks like I found the vob that had that uuid. It looks like the unregister did not happen correctly and somewhere either the stream or activity is still referring to the old uui
