Wbfs Manager Not Adding Game
2008 Messages: 279 Featured Posts: 0 Country: I've added Animal Crossing and the Munchables and they were transferred with no problem but MadWorld... Boy, you're really wbfs format mac something. I've attempted to add it 5 times and it always gave me this error. "Error occurred while adding some games. Hover the mouse over the error icon next to each game to read the error." and "Error occurred while loading drive. Make https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyC0nKcbDmM sure that the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to WBFS format." Are these common occurrences? The WBFS manager shows no error icon next to Madworld so I'm not able to read its error and I know that the drive is in WBFS format and my computer is reading it alright. What is going on here? My computer is Windows XP if that helps any. john.jingle, Jun 6, 2009 Top #1 Newcomer Vergil902 Member Joined: May 17, 2009 Messages: https://gbatemp.net/threads/having-trouble-using-wbfs-manager-3-0.159619/ 25 Featured Posts: 0 Location: Raccoon City Country: the only time that an error occurred for me was when i accidentally tried to add a game that was already there... Vergil902, Jun 6, 2009 Top #2 OP Member john.jingle GBAtemp Regular Joined: Jan 24, 2008 Messages: 279 Featured Posts: 0 Country: Well, I can say for certain that the game isn't on my HDD. It doesn't appear on the list nor did the space on my HDD changed. EDIT: Actually, now that you mentioned it, I did try install Madworld NTSCU onto my HDD through my Wii but I had to abort because the downloading just stopped abruptly. I didn't bother downloading it again so I just got a new .iso. BTW, these errors showed AFTER the game "finished uploading" onto my HDD EDIT#2: OK, that doesn't seem to be the problem. I just tried to load Punch Out onto my HDD and that's not working either, it still shows the same exact errors. john.jingle, Jun 6, 2009 Top #3 OP Member john.jingle GBAtemp Regular Joined: Jan 24, 2008 Messages: 279 Featured Posts: 0 Country: Does anyone know the answer to my problem? I was hoping that this is a common issue that would be easily addressed... Apparently not... One other question: When you insert the HDD into your computer, what kind of file system is it (right click the HDD and then Properties)? Mine says RAW while I should have WBFS right? I formatted using the USB Loader and I got a RAW format... john.jin

Make sure the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to a WBFS format. So naturally I try to format it...but then another msg pops up saying an error occurred while attempting to format the drive. I have tried older versions, 2 different pcs, about 30 different usb drives, and each and every one is doing this. The reason I am trying to do this is because I have in the past ran into trouble with my main HD being formatted NTSC with a WBFS folder for certain games(namely Zelda) but as soon as I formatted a drive to WBFS it worked without a hitch, I am currently having the same problem with The Last Story as I did with Zelda, so figured that a good spot to start would be what worked last time. Am I missing something that should be obvious? is there a new program to use for this and the two I am aware of a outdated? Also sorry for the layout, I tried to spread this ramble out a bit but hitting enter didn't place a line. I also updated to cIOSx Rev 21 D2X V8 Beta 42 af
