see the error again.By doing this, you'll identify the content that causes the issue. Delete and re-download contentIf the issue happens with content from the iTunes Store, delete and thenre-download the content. Or, download the content directly to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Delete and re-import contentIf the content isn't from the iTunes Store, delete and then re-import it from the original source. For example, delete a songand then re-import it from the CD. Remove PDF files from the sync processThis issue might happen when you try to transfer iTunes purchasesfrom your iOS device to your computer. This might also happen when you try to sync with iBooks, because it uses the same process. If so, there might be a problem with a PDF file saved to the iBooks app on your iOS device. To fix the issue, use the Share option in iBooks on your device to email the PDF to yourself. This saves a copy of the PDF in your email account and shares it with the email address you choose, which can be accessed from your computer. Then, remove the PDF file from your device. It also constantly treats the iPad as if it's never seen it before, asking us if we want to set it up as a new iPad or restore from a backup. We tried doing the restore from backup and got the same error, and setting it up as a new one simply gets us to the end of the backing up phase before spitting out the error. We've already tried the basic troubleshooting tips (Restarting both the computer and the iPad, then both again at the same time, uninstalling and re-installing iTunes, etc.), but haven't restored the iPad to factory defaults, as my mom is worried about losing her apps and paid-for music. windows-7 itunes sync ipad share|improve this question edited Jul 19 '11 at 3:42 studiohack♦ 10.8k1672108 asked Jul 19 '11 at 3:41 Neito 16114 For reference, there is no 64-bit version of iTunes. The 64-bit refers to the installer, not the application, which remains 32-bit. –user3463 Jul 19 '11 at 4:52 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote If your mother has a U
