Is that a wrong environment-variable? –Bernd Elkemann Jul 16 '11 at 14:15 Just a guess: That message was copied from a console with 80 characters width. Windows wraps long lines and does not combine them on copy&paste. –Christian Semrau Jul 16 '11 at 14:22 Does "d:\Program Files (x86)\prg_java\jdk1.6.0_26\jre\lib\rt.jar" exist? Is it readable for the current user? –Stephen C Jul 16 '11 at 14:39 We also had this problem in our production server. It could not be a java installation issue. Server was running fine for years.. –vi.su. Apr 11 '14 at 1:14 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active
God Hi, Just today, I updated my Java to the latest version. But when I tried to start up my home-run server, this is EVERYTHING I see in cmd: Code: Error occurred during initialization of VM java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object Press any key to continue https://bukkit.org/threads/java-lang-noclassdeffounderror-java-lang-object.70450/ . . . I have attempted to use the system restore to rollback my computer, but https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8026877 the error remained the same. I'm sure that this is a result of me updating Java (Recommended Version 6 Update 31) for 64 bit My Computer's Specs OS - Windows 7 64-bit Architecture and version for Java - Supposedly Version 6 Update 31, however, when I enter java - version, I recieve the SAME error as above. Wrappers - None CraftBukkit Vers - error occurred 1.2.5-R1.0 I appreciate how people on bukkit help each other for nothing in return. ~Thanks in advanced Ace Aced God, 13, 2012 #1 Offline andrewpo My BukkitDev ProfileMy Plugins (1) Post your start script please.
