I setup redirection using this article.... http://briandesmond.com/blog/redirecting-owa-urls-in-exchange-2010/ In the article is stated to leave the redirection of /Public alone.... Well in testing, I removed http redirection from the /Public website, restarted IIS and BAM!!!!!

I've got an error free OWA... thus far.Mark C Marked as answer by Mark Chris Thursday, November 04, 2010 8:57 PM Thursday, November 04, 2010 8:56 PM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote I believe options comes from the /ecp virtual directory and public folders from the /public virtual directory, so I think you can narrow your diagnostics there. Are there any settings that appear to be wrong in IIS?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." As I was researching, there was a fix in the roll up 3 that fixed this issue with OWA. In the mean time, I am checking IIS. I did make some changes a few days ago (HTTP redirects and SSL) but didn't touch the ecp and Public portions of IIS. I went thru all of IIS and to me (IIS/Exchange newb) everything looks fine to me.Mark C Friday, October 2

Join Now Greetings Spiceheads, I originally posted about this in the Networking forum thinking the issue may be tied to my recent VLAN https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/145946-owa-unexpected-errors and wireless deployment, I'm not so sure of that anymore. I believe it started sometime last week. A user logs in to OWA (inside or outside the school) , when they try to complete an action they get a popup http://forums.msexchange.org/m_1800562367/mpage_1/tm.htm "An unexpected error occurred and your request couldn't be handled." (A screen shot of the full message is below). I checked the windows event log on the server and my computer and I see nothing. I also checked the accepted error occurred domain names and they appear to be fine, I haven't changed them since I installed the server a year ago. I checked the default website bindings and there is no host name, some have suggested having a host name in the bindings could cause this error. I also checked the authentication for the ecp, EWS, and owa folders in IIS as was suggested on a MS forum. Just in case it was my VLAN project I took the Exchange server an unexpected error and DCs out of the VLAN and nothing changed. Still no luck. Does anyone here have any ideas? I'll go look for it. 0 Anaheim OP JMPerry Jul 1, 2011 at 9:23 UTC Wow not alot of help in that report...lol. Ok if the problem is with one user. It happens in OWA no matter if they log in from inside or outside. That means it is not an issue with I.E. or their browser but an actual problem with their mailbox. I am assuming this is Exchange 2007 and you have already reset OWA and IIS folder permissions and settings.
