R Studio Error Occurred During Transmission
a bit of how to restart rstudio server investigation I quickly realize my volume was full. This error may be a secondary effect of not being able to create an R session due to not being able to write to a temporary directory due to the volume being full, etc etc. May be useful for others encountering the error. error (after some minutes) : https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/200629048-R-studio-server-crashing-over-and-over-again "Error Listing Objects: Error occurred during transmission". I uploaded the file via the built-in upload function (I also tried uploading via FTP- gives same error after trying to load the error occurred file into the workspace) Uploading smaller files (eg. 1MB) however works fine. Do you know, what could cause this error? The medium EC2 instance has around 4GB RAM, and there is enough volume space, as I freshly error occurred during installed it. Also, can you send us your logs (information on finding logs available here: http://support.rstudio.org/help/kb/troubleshooting/rstudio-server-application-logs) so we can try and see what's going on? Thanks, Ian Ian Pylvainen December 30, 2013 03:34 0 votes Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google+ Permalink 0 Ian, I am having a similar problem. I am using server http://spark.rstudio.com:8787/ . I am getting a series of errors like "error occurred during transmission " and "the previous R session was abnormally terminated due to an unexpected crash" after i log in . I also see a message "WARNING: To run Shiny applications with RStudio you need to install the latest version of the Shiny package from CRAN (version 0.8 or higher is required)" in the console. This is happening as soon as i log in. Any help to resolve the issue would be appreciated.
