I have two 500gb drives in raid 0 config. So far the system boots error occurred (0) hard drive into windows just fine. So how do I go about fixing it? I assume one of the drives is bad? Step 1 is always grabbing a current backup of your important data. If you dont have a seperate pc to test on, Download WD or Hitachis drive diagnostic DOS ISO tool and burn yourself a test disk. Leave the disk in the DVD drive , you'll be booting from it in a minute. Reboot the pc into bios and change the sata mode to ahci. and select the dvd drive as the boot device. Reboot and run the full/extended test. This will take about 2hrs per drive if I remembe

But since the case only supports two drives and I was running out of space, I replaced the two 500 GB drives with two identical 1 TB drives. I copied the old partitions (including the OS partition) using Acronis Disk Director Suite 10, which worked fine. The system booted and ran perfectly all day. Now, on only the second day I've tried to use this system with the 2 TB capacity, the RAID management system that runs during the BIOS loading reports that one of the two disks has some unspecified "error". No other information is provided. Obviously, I can't fix it inside Windows, since it won't boot.
