I have been searching the internet and have not come up with a good solution. I believe the resets would fix the problem but unless the phone boots I cannot use the menu button to do a file format and web configuration reset.2) Any idea what causes this problem? I would like to proactively try to prevent this problem from occuring in the future.Thank you,Rich Report Inappropriate Content Message 1 of 2 (1,416 Views) Reply SteffenBaierUK Polycom Employee & Moderator Posts: 11,094 0 Re: Polycom 501 error updating bootROM! Everything is fine until it gets to "Reading Boot ROM" and it has a "Fatal Error" - update process ends and nothing else happens.I'm new to BB but have tried researching the problem on several sites without finding any information. Thanks in advance.Message Edited by turnerman on 06-07-2009 10

It has https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2038813?start=0&tstart=0 worked fine until now.2 days ago these events took place.-The windows disk was no longer https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/boot-rom-firmware-update-for-bootcamp.103931/ listed in the "Startup Disk" menu-Then I could not run the Boot Camp Assistant anymore. It opens with a error saying I have to update my computer`s boot rom firmwareI have tried to reinstall OSX 2 times (although I kind of knew that would not help). I have tried every Firmware update found on the apple website. It will not run error updating saying "Your computer does not need this update"I also tried a CD that would restore the firmware. Did not work.I need help here.. Right click on the disc image in the left hand panel of Disk Utility and then click on Mount. The disc should now be accessible again.
