Simcity Error Updating
using a Web browserCategory: Domino ServerRelease: All ReleasesPlatform: Windows 2003 Hello everyone Last week I upgraded our Domino mail server from version 7.0.3 FP1 to version 7.0.4 Yesterday I started seeing the above error message on our Domino console for all our users' mail files. I ran an Updall task with the -R parameter on all the mail simcity error updating please retry files and the error message wasn't displayed again. However this morning I started seeing the same error message again for certain users' mail files. I tried running the updall task again and even ran the fixup task but still no success. I must point out that these were run with the mail files open. Should I perhaps run them with the mail files closed? Has anyone encountered this issue before? It's the first time I've encountered such issues after an upgrade. Thanks Pierre Return to top Error updating view #1234 in mail\p... (Pierre Camiller... 19.May.09) . . server to 7.04* Today I noticed screens full of the following error on the console: Error Updating view '#XXXXXX' in MAIL\username/nsf: Entry not found in index According error updating locale to this thread in the Notes/Domino 6 & 7 Forum, this is error updating locale cisco ip phone a known issue with 7.04. One post provides steps, apparently from IBM, to fix the problem. Another references a 3ds error when updating HotFix 704HF37 that is supposed to fix the problem. All of the links to this hotfix appear to be broken. Has anyone seen this problem and/or a fix for it? * I'm http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/d6091795dfaa5b1185256a7a0048a2d0/1053a713da29051b852575bb00460de0?OpenDocument waiting for Domino 8.51 Gold and for my add-in tasks to be certified for 8.5 Posted at 01:44:36 AM, PST in Lotus Notes Discussion/Comments (2): Simon O'Doherty (http://www.bleedyellow.com/blogs/Simon/): 10/3/2009 7:26:13 AM Server Hotfix Error updating view in .... Entry not found in index Hotfixes are supplied by support and are normally coded for certain builds and logged for the customers who open the call. http://www.notesonproductivity.com/ICA/NOP.nsf/dx/hotfix-error-updating-view-in-....-entry-not-found-in-index They are not supposed to give it to others without permission. The reason for this is that if something is wrong with the hotfix it can be recalled. So those links shouldn't of been posted and normally only last 1 week from when the fix was supplied to the customer. You will need to open a PMR with support if you need that hotfix. I think I had confused Hot Fixes with Fix Packs. Discussion for this entry is now closed.
