Previous Versions of Exchange > Exchange Previous Versions - Outlook, OWA, POP, and IMAP Clients Question 0 Sign in to vote Hi I have found numerous posts on this problem and error messages. and most of them are old, so it seems this problem should have been solved, but yet i'm beating my head to figure out what the problem is. i'm sorry if i'm reviving a problem that's been beaten to death. we never had any exchange server in the environment before, and were using an old postfix server for mail. we jumped straight to exchange 2007 sp2. we have outlook 2003, 2007, and 2010 clients. this error "Error updating public folder with free/busy information on virtual machine . The error number is 0x80070005." has showing up and i have not been able to figure out why. my outlook 2003 clients can't see other user's calendar. "unable to dispaly the folder. the calendar folder could not be found." however, they are able to see another user's calendar who's permissions are set to higher than FREE/BUSY. my outlook 2007 clients have been fine. as well, a few users have been getting "0x8004010f an object cannot be found". can anyone shed some insight? thanks in advance. All users can see free/busy information for everyone. In Outlook 2003, users can see free/busy information for users created after migration, but can't see free/busy information for users that were migrated. In Outlook 2007, free/busy doesn't work at all.Running outlook /cleanfreebusy produces an error message "Unable to clean your free/busy information on the server" for migrated users, but succeeds for new users. My Google-fu has failed me. finni Ars Praefectus Tribus: Boston, MA Registered: Dec 22, 1999Posts: 4127 Posted: Tue Jan 13, 2009 11:43 am For Outlook 2007, check to see if you've configured Autodiscover correctly.http://technet.microsoft.com/e...ibrary/bb124251.aspx Barmaglot Ars Tribunus Angusticlavius et Subscriptor Tribus: Israel Registered: Jan 18, 2006Posts: 9385 Posted: Wed Jan 14, 2009 3:54 am Autodiscover seems to be configured correctly,
