I would appreciate it if someone could help me here: DPM Error: 1) Database mount failed for Storage group Recovery Storage Group on (ExchangeServer) ID 30143: The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057) Exchange 2007 Error (Event Viewer) 1) MSExchangeIS (5060) Recovery Storage Group: Database recovery failed with error -1216 https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/c79c8a89-546f-46bd-9eb6-9efb54cf959f/exchange-2007-with-error-event-id-494-454-and-9518?forum=exchangesvrgenerallegacy because it encountered references to a database, D:\Program Files\MicrosoftExchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group\RSG20100622092733\(database name) .edb, which is no longer present. The database was not brought to a Clean Shutdown state before it was removed (or possibly moved or renamed). The database engine will not permit recovery to complete for this instance until the missing database is re-instated. If the database is truly no longer required, procedures for recovering from this error are availabale in the blablabla bla blabla. Errors in the eventviewer give me: 455 and 9518. MSExchangeIS (7772) First Storage Group: Error -1811 occurred while opening exchange 2010 logfile C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group\E0000005949.log. - The database is clean (tested with ESEUTIL /MH) - Logfile is not there and unfortunately not in a backup - Logfiles in folder are until E0000005946.log - Created a new Storage Group and database to test, this went OK, it mounts without any problems. Can I delete the logfiles somehow and start with fresh logfiles because the database is clean? < Message edited by tbm1969 -- 11.Mar.2010 7:54:20 AM > Post #: unable to mount 1 Featured Links* RE: Problems mounting database eventid 455 & 9518 - 11.Mar.2010 8:04:19 AM edgar.morales Posts: 40 Joined: 15.May2008 Status: offline Hello tbm......have you taken a look at this article from MS and followed these instructions? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896143 (in reply to tbm1969) Post #: 2 RE: Problems mounting database eventid 455 & 9518 - 11.Mar.2010 8:12:21 AM tbm1969 Posts: 3 Joined: 11.Mar.2010 Status: offline Hi Edgar!
