Exchange 2013 Database Won't Mount
in to vote Hi, We are having 2 servers, which are running with Windows 2003 Std. Server with SP2. at least one of this store's database files is missing exchange 2010 On one serverExchange 2003 Enterprise server is running and on 2nd server HP Data Protector 6.11 with all the latest patches. We have to restored the data of one mailbox and for http://forums.msexchange.org/Unable_to_Mount_restored_EDB/m_1800541640/tm.htm this we have created the Recovery Storage Group on Exchange Server and when trying to mount it, we received the following errors: Event Id: 9519 Error 0x80040102 starting database "Recovery Storage Group\Mailbox Store 1 (SERVER NAME)" on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store. One more thing, whichwe pointed out is, due to lack of the space on Server, we have added 1 external USB HDD, where we have restored the database from Data Protector. Could you please advise us, where is the problem? Thanks and Regards... Deepak Sharma Thursday, August 26, 2010 4:32 AM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote I dont think that the USB drive is going to work for you and would bet that is the main issue you are experiencing I would suggest that you utilize a different type drive. If you cant get another drive or still have issues with the RSG then I would suggest that you check out Lucid8's DigiScope http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.aspDigiScope allows you to open a RAW EDB file so that you can then Browse, Search, Export, or Recover Mailboxes, Foldersor Individiual Messaging Items like emails, tasks, notes, calendars etc without the use of an RSG. Solved Exchange 2007 Database not mountable - Event ID 9518, 9519 Posted on 2009-07-20 MS Server OS Windows Server 2008 Exchange 1 Verified Solution 5 Comments 7,675 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-10 Hi Experts, since last Sunday exchange 2010 I do have a very criitical failure with my Exchange 2007 in a Microsoft EBS 2007, all running on two Microsoft Hyper-V Server (Hyper-V01 hosting the "Mmgt Server an the Sec Server. Hyper-V02 hosting Msg Server and a stand alone Sharepoint Server). But lets start from the scratch. All started on Sunday when Hyper-V02, after a dirty shutdown, booted the Msg Server from an old snapshot, a snapshot which was older than three month. unable to mount All services and files had a timestamp 04.2009. So my first problem was a AD that did not run properly and a non working DNS, because of Kerberos Ticket and so on. Not a big deal on that one, some hours later AD and DNS where back in business. Now there was still the Exchange where I had several error messages like no permission here and no permission there (Security Pol, AD ...). A use of setup.exe /prepareAD from my Exchange CD fixed all the errors and the services came up and running. So far so good. The one and only problem I still have is that I can not mount the Database anymore. A eseutil /mh reveilled that the DB had a dirty shutdown. So fixing this with eseutil /d and eseutil /p let my hope to erase all of my problems, but unfortenately it wasn't like that. Still the same error. The errors I get are Event ID9518 and 9519. My next thought was to create a new Database in a new Storagegroup which worked like a charms. But I still do not get the old one running and/or Mailboxes out of it. Attached I added most of the logfiles. I really hope to find some help here. Greetz and Thx Patrick Protokollname: Application Quelle: MSExchangeF
