I am getting the above message when I run the mail flow troubleshooter in Exchange 2007 running on SBS 2008. Earlier today I started getting reports from some of my external office users that customers were calling them stating they sent an receive connectors exchange 2010 email hours ago for an order an never received any email back, (reason being my external user never received the email.) User connects using Outlook Anywhere. I have tested I am able to send and receive from Company email to a Gmail account through Outlook anywhere. And I received quite a few external emails today with no problem, while internal to the network. Recent changes to network: Last Friday I renewed and installed my SSL cert (well GoDaddy did it for me but anyway). As the issue started occurring today I am thinking that most likely it is not the cause of my issue. And yesterday I made a change to the default receive connector to allow for anonymous users to connect to the receive connector so that we could do scan to email from our new Xerox copy machine. I checked the queue and there was one message sent from one of my external users that said delayed but other than that the queue is empty. I would appreciate any help or insight anyone can offer on this issue and would gladly buy the person who gets me the right fix for this lunch. Thanks in advance. Reply Sub

For some reason, e-mail stopped flowing at 05:00Hrs this morning. We ran the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant and this is what it found: So, we dug into http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f8/mail-submission-failed-error-message-the-smtp-host-was-not-specified-414273.html the Exchange Management Console and this is what we found: No send connector. So, we went through and created a new Send Connector: Gave it a name: Define the Address space: This exchange 2010 is the result of the above setting: We left the default for Network settings: We also left the default for the Source Server: The overview for the New Connector: Once the send connector was created, e-mail started to flow as expected.
