Just getting into server support so https://www.windowsbbs.com/threads/ad-replication-problems.102115/ this is all pretty new to me so excuse me if I sound silly at any point but really want to resolve this problem. To note, this is an inherited set-up. DC1 (oxin-ic-cic-01.oxin-ic.co.uk), which is server 2003 and is the schema master, domain naming master, RID, PDC and infrastructure master. Also the DNS server. DC2 (ic-cic-ts-01.oxin-ic.co.uk) also server 2003 uses DC1 as DNS so just has active directory installed. Also has Terminal services installed but not set-up or in use, just has the role installed. DC3 (oxin-sp-01) server 2008 standard, is a sharepoint server. DC3 and DC2 replicate to one another OK, but DC1 the FSMO master does not replicate with anything. DC1 and DC2 are not replicated, or accepting a “replicate now” command. When I click “replicate now” on either I get the same error message. I have https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/479606-fixing-replication-issues 2 servers here. (Well more than that but one is the DC and one is another I having problems with) Both servers are Windows Server 2008 32 bit (inherited from last guy). Server A is the DC. It houses all of our printers and has the users and blah blah on it. Server B is a server that houses vital information for the CRM program that we use. failed with The files/folders also have permissions that depend on it having AD. It is also a secondary DC so it has GPO and users and DNS and blah blah Server B is not replicating Server A at all. I have users on A in AD that don't even exist on B. Is there a way to fix these replication issues without having to remove server B from the domain failed with error and rejoin it? However, try this and see if it will work: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6231 1 Tabasco OP GregBriggs Apr 21, 2014 at 6:58 UTC Server A holds FSMO roles.
