2008 R2. I also have a domain in the DMZ. This is a single forest with 2 DC's. It is small, just to support AD Authentication, DNS, DFS-R, etc. The DC's were running 2008. I wanted to start my R2 project here. I figured I could get a good feel for the upgrade process and what it was going to be like for the internal domains. I built 2 new 2008 R2 servers and made them DC's. After they were DC's, I ran the usual commands to check the health of the domain and to make sure that replication was functioning properly. I ended up seeing a lot of access denied errors.
