Rate Topic Display Mode Topic Options Author Message AlexSQLForumsAlexSQLForums Posted Tuesday, October 17, 2006 11:18 AM Ten Centuries Group: General Forum Members Last Login: Yesterday @ 3:45 PM Points: 1,348, Visits: 2,214 Hi all I've got a sql 2005 active/passive cluster on win2k3 servers.In cluster admin under sql server 2005 group resources i've got:3 physical disksIP Address - ip address of mycluster serverNetwork Name - mycluster-depends on Ip addressSQL Server - sql server - depends on 3 physical disks, network name and ip address.SQL Server Agent - SQL agent - depends on SQL ServerSQL Full-Text - also depends on sql serverAll my dependencies and resources are correct.so when i try to bring online the sql server it says failed under state.I try to start the sql server from config manager it doesn't start. give me an error:"The request failed or service did not respond in timely fashion. consult event log"I go into the Event Viewer under applicationi see this error:Event Type:ErrorEvent Source:MSSQLSERVEREvent Category:(2)Event ID:26054Date:10/17/2006Time:1:10:19 PMUser:N/AComputer:mycluster1Description:Could not find any IP address that this SQL Server instance depends upon. try uninstalling and then installing the game again. You may be receiving this error due to having an incorrect file. To resolve this issue, please delete the "NexonEU" folder from your C drive. If you have Windows XP, please delete this folder by going to the default location where this folder is located:C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NexonEU folder If you have Windows Vista or 7, please delete this folder by going to the default location where this folder is located:C:\ProgramData\NexonEU After you have deleted the folder try installing the game again.
