I'd appreciate any hints on how to get rid of the error message. Thank you javascript jquery internet-explorer resize invalid-argument share|improve this question asked Aug 1 '13 at 13:43 Muster Mark 33318 1 As a side note, the third parameter is not supported in IE. have a look here - developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/window.setTimeout - "Note that passing additional parameters to the function in the first syntax does not work in Internet Explorer. If you want to enable this functionality on that browser you must use a compatibility code" –Mark Walters Aug 1 '13 at 13

It is setTimeout that is causing the hurt, and commenting it out stops the error. Issue is present in 2.0.0-RC3 and RC4. $affix.checkPositionWithEventLoop = function () { setTimeout(this.checkPosition, error invalid argument 1); }; Sorry information is not better. GeorgeGardiner commented Mar 17, 2014 Ugly fix: setTimeout(function () { this.checkPosition; }, 1); mgcrea added a commit that closed this issue Mar 18, 2014 mgcrea #565 a7cb438 mgcrea closed this in a7cb438 Mar 18, 2014 disrvptor referenced this issue Nov 5, 2014 Open Scrollspy throws exception in IE9 #1229 Sign up for free to join this conversation on GitHub.
