I have restored it with no luck. any suggestions?? The problem lies within the router firmware that controls DHCP (automatic IP address assignment for connected devices). I only had an IP address and Subnet Mask showing, the router line was blank. So once the router was turned off and back on it created a router ID, which it obviously needs for the wireless to work. I hope this also helps everyone else. Eventhough all my other wireless devices were working, the router had to be off and back on to resend the id to

When it starts again got to Settings -> About and check to see if your Wi-Fi Address has been Reset. The only thing is, when you reset your network settings, you will be asked to enter your WiFi password. When you enter your 26 digit WEP key you will be able to connect to the internet again.
