An object could not be found.' I have managed to work out that the error only happens when doing the "Download Address Book" part of the sync. If I try to sync inbox/sent items/etcindividuallythen I do not get the error but when I select "Download microsoft exchange Address Book" I get the error each time. If I leave the window open for around 5 minutes then it will close itself. I have confirmed that the offline address list is fine and has everyone in it. Before the issue came about we have a problem with the OAL where some users would not show up on the list. After re-creating the OAL on Exchange it has sorted that part of the issue but now microsoft exchange offline we are getting the above. It is only happening with Outlook 2003 clients and 2007 and 2010 are working ok. I think it may be something to do with the OAL set up as it has only happened after I created a new one. We are currently running Exchange 2010 SP1 RU5 with 2 Mailbox servers configured in a DAG and 2 CAS/HT server in an array. Any help would be great. I had to go to "Organization Configuration" - "Mailbox". Right click each mailbox database and select properties. Click Client Settings and add in the Offline Address Book. Another good trick I learned a little while ago that may help is to right-click the Outlook icon in the system tray while holding down Ctrl, which reveals an extra diagnostic option called 'Test E-mail Autoconfiguration'. That threw up a problem which very quickly led to the root cause when I last saw this error.
