Now I'm getting some strange errors from Outlook that says the server is not available. I check the server and it is up and running, no errors in the event log. If I stop and restart Outlook the problem seems to go away. Following Follow Microsoft Exchange 2003 I have one Active Directory Connector (ADC) on Windows 2000 and a child domain using Windows Server 2003. I am using ForestPrep and DomainPrep switches on the Windows 2000 server, which is the parent domain. I installed Exchange Server 2003 on the child domain and the installation was successful. However, after restarting, the following errors popped up in the Event Viewer: MSExchangeSA(one of the system attendant task is block functioning : Cmonitoring Task) MSExchangeIS (Unable to initialize the microsoft exchangeinformation store services error 0x80004005). Error 0x80004005 connecting to the microsoft active directory. MSExchangeMTA (a fatel error occurred reading a value from the directory. No MTA name was found. MSExchange FBPublish (Error initializing session for virtual machine (Server name). The error number is 0x80040111. make sure microsoft exchange store is running.
