Windows Could Not Start The Microsoft Exchange Information Store On Local Computer Error Code 0
to vote So I have an exchange 2010 server. For some odd reason, my database is in a error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start exchange transport dismounted state, and my public database is in an "unknown" state. Trying to mount it gives me an error. I did some research, and see that my Microsoft Exchange Information

Store wasn't started, and as you know, you need this up for the databases to be mountable (is that a word?). Anyway, I cannot start the MS exchange store, i get this error: "Windows could not start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start". After checking its windows could not start the microsoft exchange information store on local computer 2147221213 dependencies, I am completely confused as they are all up and running. Any ideas? Suggestions? I'm able to connect with my DCs on different servers, and DNS is working. Thanks in advance. Did you stop AV service as Alexei suggested above. All Exchange services can be started except Information Store and Transport Service, I've tried to start the services manually but return error 1068. I've googled this issues, someone suggest re-install Exchange but not help. From microsoft KB, it said that is should be permission problem.
