Norton and also the spam check feature for a short time on a new laptop. I had to return the laptop after 3 months, 8 hours on the phone with BT Yahoo support, checking my phone line, uninstalling and reinstalling Norton and following all the instructions in their error message (see below). I have purchased a new Sony computer - XP, SP2 and Norton 2004 - same problem the problem is sending email. I tried "replying" to an email, and it scans usually before sending the email, and shows the progress too, and it's not going through. I later disabled the outgoing mail scan, which still seems to be giving me the same error. Same problem again. I cannot send email. Very ocassionally an email will go through. It is a nightmare. I can receive and not send. I have a Belkin wireless router and that seems to work as I can get onto websites. I also cannot load the BTYahoo webmail (although I can access it from work) If someone has had this situation before, and got help, please help me. The error I receive from Norton is: Your email message to
