Also you are not on the latest version of Comcast's Norton Security Suite. You need to run LiveUpdate (rebooting when requested) until LiveUpdate responds "no updates found". At this poitn you shojld be able to open NSS, select Support > About and have version 20.2.0.19. when youhave that , you will be totally up to date. Please let us
Error: "5013,3" appears on my Norton product These steps are for the current version of the Norton products. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center. STEP1 Download and run Norton Power Eraser Download Norton Power Eraser. Click Save. Select the location as Desktop, and then click Save. To run Norton Power Eraser, double-click the NPE.exe file. If the User Account Control window prompts, click Yes or Continue. Read the license agreement, and click Accept. In the Norton Power Eraser window, click the Scan https://community.norton.com/en/forums/error-found for Risks icon. By default, Norton Power Eraser performs a Rootkit scan and requires a system restart. When you see a prompt to restart the computer, click Restart. Click OK. Exit the Services window. Restart the computer. If you still see the error or if you cannot find the Base Filtering Engine service, go to Step 4. STEP4 Download and run the fix tool The fix tool is not compatible with Windows XP. Windows XP users need to contact Norton Support. Download the fix tool. Save the file to the Windows desktop.
