Unable To Connect To Network Proxy Server Please Check Your Norton Proxy Settings
system problem or outage, visit Norton Services Status page. STEP1 Restart your computer Exit all programs. Restart norton error 8921 and 251 your computer. STEP2 Run LiveUpdate Start your Norton product. In the main window, click Security, and then click LiveUpdate. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK. Run norton error 8921 and 253 LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates." If the problem persists, go to Step 3. STEP3 Configure LiveUpdate to automatically detect settings Start your Norton product. Click Settings. Under Detailed Settings, click Administrative Settings. Under Administrative Settings, next to Network Proxy Settings, click Configure. In the Network

I had privoxy installed. Uninstalled it and reset the proxy for my browsers. Reset the proxy server for Norton. While the browsers could connect to the internet Norton was no longer https://community.norton.com/en/forums/proxy-server-error able. Thus had to reinstall privoxy to allow Norton Updates. Otherwise just kept getting an error regarding "unable to connect to network proxy server". A bug that needs to be fixed... It then gives me the message to check my network proxy settings. I run a home network, my internet is working fine, and i dont have network proxy settings. I double checked my internet explorer, nothing ticked off with network proxy settings, i checked the network proxy settings in norton, and nothing is checked off there...so by all rights it should work no? NOt sure what else i can check? Can anyone help me?
