Memory Full Failed To Export The Report Not Enough Memory For Operation
in SBO Sebastian Kleiner Jul 13, 2012 1:58 PM Currently Being Moderated Hi not enough memory for operation vb6 all,I have a problem with custom CR layout at customer site. Basically it is a production order with a

drawing in small version on page 1 and a big version on page 2. The drawings are about 80 to 100kb size, so not very large, same file is used for big http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=603172 and small version. When trying to preview or export or print the layout in B1 (3 production orders -> 6 pages), only one or two drawings are shown, but the rest stays empty. An error message appears from 'Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer', saying 'It is not enough memory available for operation'.Which drawings are shown is very random, so sometimes the first big and small https://scn.sap.com/thread/3207088 appear, sometimes only first and second small but no big one, and so on.This happens both on client and server side, CR is only installed on server side. Memory shouldn't be a problem on both, there is enough available and unused.Testing the layout in CR, everything works fine and perfomance is good. Testing it on my development server inside of B1, it works also. The first one works fine but when I try to call the second one I get the error: 20500 Not enough memory for the operation. The report not enough works fine if I call it from the Seagate Desktop. I'm using VB 6.0, Seagate 7.5, Windows XP and the database is Oracle 8.1.7. I also tried with Windows 2000 but I get the same error. Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Many thanks, Lorenzo santaclo View Public Profile Find all posts by santaclo #2 09-17-2003, 05:02 AM mikechan8888 Contributor not enough memory Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: HK Posts: 436 Did you check the Task Manger to see if your PC is really out of memory? I have not developed any Crystal Report since 2001 so I don't know if you should/can programatically release some resources of the first report after printing it out before printing a new one. P.S. After spending too much time on EJB for the past 2 years...now coming back to CR, I hope I can contribute more on CR later! mikechan8888 View Public Profile Find all posts by mikechan8888 « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts BB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is Off HTML code is Off Forum Rules Forum Jump User Control Panel Private Messages Subscriptions Who's Online Search Forums Forums Home News & Notifications
I keep getting error 20500 after running my reports.According to Seagate it has something to do with System.mdw.System.mdw is the MS Access security file where user level security information is held. I'm logging on to an Oracle database and not Access.Could someone please help me out with this one? Thanks! Sun, 28 Sep 2003 13:01:22 GMT Vincent Haakma#2 / 2 Error 20500 - Not enough memory for operation The problem could be almost allways hardware related. I had this problem too. I found out later that my novell printer connection was invalid. This caused the error. After rebooting and reconfiguring the printer, the problem was solved. I would say to check some system/hardware connections.
