Thread Status: Not open for further replies. Advertisement cheezmunky Thread Starter Joined: Nov 29, 2011 Messages: 2 Sometime last week my computer started producing random just-in-time debugging popups. They seem to be getting worse and pop up almost constantly. I've also noticed that there is a instance of svchost.exe running that eats almost all of my memory. I'm not have any problems with being directed like I've read of a lot of people having. I ran a full scan with Microsoft Security Essentials and it found a few problems, which it corrected, but the problem was still there. I then ran it again in safe mode and it deleted three instances of java/blacole (.BI, .W, and .BM) but the problem still persisted. I then tried Spybot S&D in safe mode and it found nothing. I ran combofix a couple of times in safe mode. Both times it found errors which it corrected, but the problem persists. I then ran malwarebytes in safe mode which came up clean. Now that malwarebytes is running in the background it seems as though the problem has gone away, but I keep getting popups in the system tray saying malwarebytes blocked access to a potentially malicious website: 178.238.233.153. That brings me to where I am now. I'm fed up with this thing; hopefully someone else will be able to help me.
