Apparently the key i used was just for searching. I used admin key and it worked fine. Thanks a lot. –user829223 Apr 29 at 5:19 I'll just post this as an answer so that we can close the question. –Jerska Apr 29 at 9:05 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted It seems like you're using an API key that doesn't have the "Add records" ACL in Algolia. You probably used your search API key, when you want to use your Admin API key for indexing. share|improve this answer answered Apr 29 at 9:05 Jerska 7,29231439 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
