Illustrator Not Enough Memory Mac
new to the forums and I did a quick search but I couldn't find anything to help me. I'm having
Not Enough Application Memory Mac
a problem with sheepshaver, in which when I try to run a program (for this instance I am going to use nanosaur as an example) it crashes with the error message saying "There
Mac Not Enough Memory
is not enough memory required to run "nanosaur" (Zero K needed, 45,288 available)" Now this makes no sense to me, has anyone ever seen something like this? I have tried two OS, one being the plain Mac OS 9.0 and another being a sheepshaver version I found in a package on the internet. "apparently I used the wrong method to copy the installation files for MacMoorhuhn: I just copied into the /Users/Shared/ Folder instead of using a disk image (as described in the manual) and placing it into that previous folder... " Does that help? Thanks in Advance, Mark P.S. Sorry, I'm not too experienced with macs, so I don't know things about the operating system's hierarchy and folder placem

If you see this error in the main Virex window, you should Increase the application preferred memory size. We suspect that this error is seen primarily on computers with larger hard disks, above 10 GB. When Virex 6 was originally released, hard disks were generally under 20 GB. The last Mac OS 9-bootable computers from Apple allowed much larger hard drives to be installed, and in some cases, actually came with drives in excess of 20 GB. Whatever the cause, increasing the amount of memory allocated to the program appears to resolve the problem in every case. NEXT >> • Error Error Not Enough Memory by Tak on Sep 12, 2003 at 10:37:54 pm I am trying to render out a file that I have rendered before with no problem. Now every couple of frames I get a NOT ENOUGH MEMORY error and it stops. Here are the things I changed. Originally the file was rendered at 720 by 540 Tiff Sequence. Best Anti Aliasing. Now I am trying to output at 320 x 240 Tiff sequence. Geometry Anti Aliasing After the Memory problem: I threw out a whole bunch of extra geometries and materials that would not be seen, simplifying the file. I turned all my displays from Gourad shading to all Box display. I have pushed the memory all the way to 850mb. Turned everything else off. Rebooted the Mac and C4D... but I am running out of memory. Is it more difficult for the computer to process a smaller image??? Doesn't make sense. Any thoughts? Just a thought.Return to posts index•Re: Error Error Not Enough Memoryby gaku on Sep 13, 2003 at 4:30:33 amWhich version your C4D and MacOS? If you use R7. Please check your Mac. Perhaps, there are two type of C4D,CINEMA_4D_XL and CINEMA_4D_XL_OSX. You should use CINEMA_4D_XL on OS9 or CINEMA_4D_XL_OSX on OSX. If you use wrong type (ex.CINEMA_4D_XL on OSX),"NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" will sometimes happen.Return to posts index•Re: Error Error Not Enough Memoryby Tak on Sep 13, 2003 at 6:42:08 amI am using C4D v 8.2 on Mac OS 9.2... Never had this problem before and as I said, I have rendered out this file at a higher rez, best AA, larger format with no problem... Has me stumped. ThanksReturn to posts index•Re: Error Error Not Enough Memoryby Brian Jones on Sep 13, 2003 at 7:28:13 amThe version of C4D has probably changed too... Have you tried turning AA off just to test if it is the AA? How much memory do you have? ie. how close to the bone does 850 cut it? (since you have to leave some for QT etc). Nothing new in the scene, just removed stuff? Why not OSX?Return to posts index•Re: Error Error Not Enough Memoryby Tak on Sep 14, 2003 at 1:35:29 amI have indeed tried multiple variables... It started with C4D 8.1... I upgraded... I started with the 500mb of recommended RAM.. moved up to 850 (I have a gig of RAM all in working order). I am a
