(Looks like this did not work) Updated 2012-07-30 – Solution found - This has been affecting me so much that I moved back to Outlook 2010. This however did not help as I get this error with Outlook 2010 as well there is not which helped me find a fix… Updated 2012-08-13 (Recommended)– Better solution found.. Don’t download shared or public folders Applies To Outlook 2013 Preview Outlook 2010 Finding I tried everything that was available online and the only solution that worked for me was to have only one Exchange account active at a time. Quit one or more programs, and then try again. When this happens, you need to first check the obvious, is there sufficient memory on the PC for example? Otherwise, give this a try… 1. Close Outlook. 2. Open regedit, and click OK. 3. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem 4. On the Edit menu, go to New, and then click DWORD Value. 5. Type SharedMemMaxSize, and press Enter. 6. Right-click SharedMemMaxSize, and click Modify. 7. In the Value data box, type 300000. Use the default Base of Hexadecimal. 8. Click OK. 9. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Applications\Outlook (You might have to create the Applications and Outlook subkeys if they do not exist.) 10. On the Edit menu, go to New, and click DWORD Value. 11. Next, type SharedMemMaxSize, and press Enter. 12. In the Value data box, type 300000. Use the default Base of Hexadecimal. 13. Click OK. 14.
