Either way, I would recommend using the application repair feature to correct this the operation failed. an object cannot be found outlook 2016 - Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Select Office and click "Change" Select "Repair" and then "Continue" 0 Datil OP shatteredhourglass Dec 11, 2012 at 10:42 UTC 2010, sorry.  Fixed in the OP.  Even just now I typed 2012, then had to backspace to change to 2010.  Guess I am just used to typing the current year. Anyways, repair did not fix it.  I have deleted the account and tried to re-add it, to no avail.  Also, I tried the attempted operation failed. an object could not be found when archiving to add the account to another computer with Outlook, same error.  I have contacted Godaddy and they say it is not their issue, and suggested many things that did not fix it.  I still think it is their problem. 0 Thai Pepper OP The.Smorg Dec 11, 2012 at 11:04 UTC Empact IT is an IT service provider. An "object cannot be found" error usually indicates an issue with Outlook, not a connecting service, though you tossed that one out of the window. You didn't happen to use the same PST file on the other computer did you? 0 Datil OP shatteredhourglass Dec 11, 2012 at 11:21 UTC No. I manually added the account, which is another person's account (not even my domain,) on my computer, which has working accounts on it. 0 Thai Pepper OP Galen in Laguna Dec 12, 2012 at 1:04 UTC BTW Godaddy servers suck.   Email is slow, the control panel is horribly clunky, their IMAP implodes when syncing on iPhone/iPads with lots of mail, and formmail only sends once every 15 minutes.  Not good if you are trying to make an online lunch order form for restaurants, the customers get there before the email does...... thier performance is not acceptable in modern 2012 imho  0 Thai Pepper OP The.Smorg Dec 12, 2012 at 1:08 UTC Empact IT is an IT service provider.
