Ever since I https://www.windowsbbs.com/threads/outlook-2003-error-message-no-disk.91639/ transferred Outlook from my old PC which ran XP, I have been getting the following error message when I open Outlook:- OUTLOOK.EXE - No Disk There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 Cancel Try Again Continue When I click on any of Cancel, Try Again or Continue, the message comes back five or six times, and then gets bored and goes away ..... until the next time I open Outlook. Can anyone suggest a solution? Many thanks Michael Cole London Michael Cole, #1 2010/03/09 Steve R Jones SuperGeek Staff Joined: 2001/12/30 Messages: 11,749 Likes Received: 171 Trophy Points: 843 Location: Dallas, TX Computer Experience: Experienced Welcome to WindowsBBS First you mentioned you installed....then you mentioned transfered??? complete error reads: WINDOWS - NO DISK x - There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive. [Cancel] [Try Again] [Continue] I click on [Continue] several times, then I'm able to use Outlook 2003 without further problem. Is there a http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/i-get-a-false-windows-no-disk-error-fix.2966412/ fix for this annoyance? Is there a fix for this annoyance? You have a reference in your mail profile to a outlook 2003 PST on a floppy. Remove the reference and Outlook won't try to look any more. -- Brian Tillman Brian Tillman, Nov 16, 2006 #2 Advertisements Guest Guest Thanks - that was it!
