Here is how to check, and change that setting: On the Outlook menu bar select Tools > Options Click on the Mail Format tab. Make sure the "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages" checkbox is not selected. I have not found out why this is a problem (yet) and I have a few users who ARE using Word as their e-mail editor with out any problems. 4, 2007. Jaimerogers Guest I recently have had problems forwarding an email that has a lot of graphics in it or saving drafts of similar emails. I have Outlook (2003) configured http://www.office-forums.com/threads/unspecified-error-when-forwarding-email-or-saving-a-draft.1439654/ to use Word (2003) as my editor and this problem does not occur when Word is not my editor. The thing is, I need Word as the editor so I can edit the hyperlinks among other things. So when I hit send or try to save a draft I get "Unspecified Error" and it will not forward or save. I have tried detect and repairing Word but that didn't outlook 2003 help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Jaimerogers, Jun 4, 2007 #1 Advertisements Jaimerogers Guest Also, I have tried the OLE registration error fix (although I have not been getting that error message) and that did not do anything either. It looks like a lot of other people on other discussion groups are having the same problem with no solutions so if anyone can figure it out, outlook 2003 unspecified you will be very popular. Change this to either plain text (won't work because you are sending an HTML newsletter and PT will change the formatting and disable the images) or Rich Text. Rich Text saves the message formatting but does not give the error described on my workstation. Good Luck!
