To fix this you must go into the http://forums.windrivers.com/showthread.php?88189-Printer-not-activated-error-code-30 application you are printing from, and manually print from the default printer, once this is done you can now use the quickprint without receiving the error anymore. This appears to be related to a PDF application trying to be the default device or even just a bug with PDF printing in general.
