We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines: Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link. Be a good listener.

During my three years administering Timberline Office we never could get the print to xls to work. The workaround was https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/171531-timberline-printer-not-activated-30-when-trying-to-print-to-excel to print to txt and open the file in Excel. Then the user would have to edit the file to get things where they needed to go since the formatting would be way off. If it turns out that it is just a simple permissions problem then I'm going to feel really stupid. Then again, Timberline does a great jobs of making administrators feel stupid on a regular basis. 0 Jalapeno OP Best Answer Gareth4146 Nov 24, 2011 at 3:35 UTC In the end after re-installing the printer drivers I gave users full control over the registry key below and it now works. However in the past I have also received error -41. The following steps below fixed -41 for us: Ensure that the TS PDF Generator is not selected as the default printer in Windows and Timberline If that doesn't work you could try the following Remove TS PDF Gen
