In the end I persisted with trying to activate the OS. After re-entering the product key (as if new) I was able to come right. I thought put in the win 7 disk that'll sort it, no luck, it says loading files for a few minutes the i get a blue screen with the error; stop: c0000221 \systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll Have done a bit of googling and I have found everything from just a corrupt file to HDD is failing. The only recent change to the system was the installation of filezilla FTP. Any thoughts on what it could be or what I should do would be most appreciated. Is there a way for me to get the crash report without loading windows?
