MAKING A GRINDING NOISE WHEN PRINTING Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 making a grinding noise when it prints. The printer as far as I can tell seems to be functioning fine, in the sense that there are no reoccurring paper jams or image defects. When we hp laserjet 4250 error codes look closer at the machine it seems like the noise is coming from the rear of rm1-1750 the printer. I cant really see anything from that angle, but am afraid to pull it apart for fear of not putting it back together

Replaced the Lift Drive Assy and DC Controller. Fill cassette half way and no problem, any more than 250 sheets it codes out.... You decide if it might apply to your situation: "60.02" error message. Tray #2 lifter motor not functioning. The lift motor is supposed to float freely on a central swivel. This one was bound up due to malformation of the plastic mounts. Remove the outer plastic bushing and with a rat tail file oval out the bore (in this case downward) to allow the lift motor to float on its spring loa
