the lifter motor assy and you can watch it move back and forth as the printer hp laserjet 4250 error codes bangs.I replaced the lifter assy and still does the same thing. I reconnected the old one without mounting it and you can see the motor turning as it attempts to lift the paper. Remember, this is happening without the assy being in the printer. No Banging but still getting error 60.02.The question I have concerns a lever just forward of the lifter in the paper https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/60-02-Error/td-p/5044277 tray guide itself. On a 4250, it is spring loaded. The P4015 I am working on does not have a spring loaded lever. I removed the paper pick up drive assy so I could see if there were any broken parts and also to remove the forward tray guide which contains this lever. No broken parts that I could tell but on the lever in question, you can tell there is supposed to be a spring and there is a spring on http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/77348 the axle that looks like a 6 or 9 without an opposing tail to cause it to spring back. The illustration for the guide in the manual does not show a spring.Moe or dmzcompute - either one of you familiar with what I am looking at? It seems to me that this lever may be the keey to the banging. Respond to this 0 the white plastic lever IS spring loaded. by eric111 on Nov 14, 2014 at 12:03pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Make sure the backstop in the tray itself is positioned correctly. If to far forward it prevents the tray from lifting all the way and can cause that knocking noise. If that is not it, then the white gear on the right side of the paper tray is probably bad. by dmzcompute on Nov 14, 2014 at 3:01pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Paper lifts all the way with multiple trays. Confirmed the spring actuated lever on a working printer. by Zeb_Carter on Nov 17, 2014 at 10:56am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Well, the sage continues.I have replaced the right side tray guide as mentioned upthread. No change in operation. Still getting the banging AFTER the paper lifts to max height. I can find nothing wrong with the tray. Manually manipulating the floor of the paper tray (part that lifts)shows no binding of any type and the mechan

printer designed to deliver all the printing needs of small and medium-sized businesses that can produce your printouts as fast as 23 pages per minute. It is relatively small and yet offers a 1200 x 1200 dpi printing resolution for clear and crisp text and graphics. It uses Image Enhancement Technology, HP FasRes1200 to be able to produce professional-looking documents. It also uses a standard yield HP 42A toner cartridge and high-yield HP 42X toner cartridge that has a higher page yield for printer users to be able to print more documents. Like any printers, the HP LaserJet 4250 has several printer error codes. And one of this error is the Error 10.32.00 message. This usually appears when the printer has recognized the installation of a non-original cartridge but this only occurs when the cartridge is installed. Just press the check button to clear the message. Another error is the Error 60.02 which is caused by the lifter motor not properly lifting the tray 2 cassette of the machine.
