Why? 2009-07-12 15:38:36 Reply It would help if you posted the code that is giving you problems. I can't seem to find out what would cause this error. The Flash docs don't say anything, and I can't find much online (except one case where someone was trying to use the class constructor for a recursive function I believe, which may be your problem). dELtaluca dELtaluca Memb

Hi. How would one get a reference of String global function (not class). According to language reference this function does exist (and I'm ready as3 error 1112 to believe it does), but, say and you have a: Code: function foo(bar:Function):void { ... } How then would you pass that String to it? I guess you do it like this...? Code: foo(getString); private function getString(value:*):String { return String(value); } Reply With Quote February 4th, 2011,04:01 PM #3 TheCanadian View Profile View Forum Posts 10,305 posts Noo doot aboot it, eh? That's a really good question. I tried every possible combination of namespace I could think of to get at it but nothing worked. I also couldn't find it defined anywhere in playerglobal. ArgumentError: Error #1112: Argument count mismatch on class coercion. Expected 1, got 0. at viking()
