Comcast Error Code S0900
December 08, 2014, 10:11:57 pm» I'm having issues with Dansguardian: I cannot access any web site, and there are missing exec files: freshclam comcast error code 36896 and clamd. In 2.1.5 stable, I never had issues, and now there are issues with 2.2 beta. How do I fix this? 2 Packages / DansGuardian and pfSense 2.1.5: Web uploads denied and package editor disappears «on: http://forums.comcast.com/t5/E-Mail-and-Xfinity-Connect-Help/Error-525-6007-help-please/td-p/1444735 December 08, 2014, 08:37:24 pm» Hello everyone:I decided to revert back to pfSense 2.1.5 from 2.2 Beta due to bugs in both the NIC setup and packages.Currently, I have Squid and DansGuardian installed, configured; rebooted the pfSense Firewall to apply the ACLs and groups (and IP Addresses) for every PC, tablet, and so on. If I want to add an attachment on here, DansGuardian displays an error message saying web uploads aren't permitted.I tried the https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=topics;u=237827 patched dansguardian file, however, it gave me errors saying one file cannot be accessed or found; wouldn't start, so I had to revert back to the old dansguardian exec file; DansGuardian still works, but I cannot upload anything to any site, which requires 15 steps to allow certain sites for web uploads. On top of that, the DansGuardian configuration on the pfSense WebConfigure disappears when I reinstall the package... Should I restart the WebConfiguration to get the DansGuardian config permanently shown on the index page as well as the service status?Am I doing something wrong? 3 2.2 Snapshot Feedback and Problems - RETIRED / Where can I find the ralink driver for my ASUS PCE-N53 (RT2860/5592)? «on: December 07, 2014, 04:11:37 pm» Hello everyone:Currently on my firewall, I have 5 NICs (2x 1Gb Ethernet (1 built-in), 2x 100-BaseTx PCI, and a PCI-E x1 Wireless Card), and my PC's BIOS detects all 5 of them, however, pfSense 2.2 Beta 04-12-14 is not playing ball with my wireless card.First off, it doesn't get detected, and when I try loading my card with a generated driver using ndiscvt and the Windows XP x64 drivers, and try to load the driver using this command:Code: [Select]kldload /boot/modules/rt2860.ko
I get this error:Code: [Select]kldload: an error occurred while loading the module. Please check dmesg(8) for more details.

The hot spot is likely not the cause of the issues but my advice is to disable it. If someone wants internet service they can pay for it themselves or go to a place that has WiFi access. edit to add: How to disable it can be found herehttp://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/disable-xfinity-wifi-home-hotspot Edited by Queen-Evie, 04 March 2016 - 06:52 PM.
