Gepubliceerd op 14 feb. 2014I am sharing a simple self-made video how to solve CPU fan error. In order to make this message disappear from a PC on startup you have to get into the bios settings of your computer. To get into the bios settings you have to press Del, F1 or F2 (varies according the different motherboard) while starting your computer as shown in this video. After getting into the bios search for fan control settings, I have to enter into the Power tab of the bios settings on this motherboard to get into the CPU Fan speed. On this motherboard CPU fan speed is N/A by default & I have to change it to Ignored to make the message of CPU fan error disappear on startup. In some motherboard the rpm of CPU fan warning is highlighted by default at 600 rpm & if you lower the rpm to 300 rpm the CPU fan error will disappear. But do remember to save the bios setting before exit by pressing F10 as shown in this video to remove the CPU fan error warning message. The problem I am having is that when I boot up my pc I get a error that I had a cpu fan error press F1 to continune. Once I press F1 everything goes fine but it is just anoying every boot up to hit F1 to contine. I have looked in the bios but could not find any thing to disable the error. So I am asking for your help if there is something you can suggest or have to to stop this error from coming up. Also where is the best place to put the thermal sensor on the cpu? Currently I just stuck it in the middle of my heatsinks fins. Just was suggestions where to put it to get accurate readings. One is for CPU and one is for Motherboard Fan. If you connect CPU fan to the one that is used for motherboard one, BIOS find no fan plugged in CPU's one, as it expects, that's why it returns this error. However, each motherboard/BIOS is different so there might be an option to disable it. It's probably best to just look in the BIOS or the manual. Also, you're lucky; none of my boards will boot period if they can't detect a CPU fan or it's RPM reading is too low.
