With its bigger fan, it spins slower than the stock Intel cooler, and so the BIOS sometimes thinks the fan is going bad (spinning too slowly). You'll need to go into your BIOS and find the page with settings for monitoring the CPU fan speed, and deactivate that monitoring. rashod0 September 25, 2007 1:24:43 AM Well actually when the msg did first appear the fan was actually stuck. And after I blew it out good it seemed to work ok but I still got the msg. I regularly blow ou

Published on Feb 14, 2014I am sharing a simple self-made cpu fan video how to solve CPU fan error. In order to make this message disappear from a PC on startup you have to get into the bios settings of your computer. To get into the bios settings you have to press Del, F1 or F2 (varies according the different motherboard) while starting your computer as shown in this video. After getting into the bios search for fan control settings, I have to enter into the Power cpu fan error tab of the bios settings on this motherboard to get into the CPU Fan speed. On this motherboard CPU fan speed is N/A by default & I have to change it to Ignored to make the message of CPU fan error disappear on startup. In some motherboard the rpm of CPU fan warning is highlighted by default at 600 rpm & if you lower the rpm to 300 rpm the CPU fan error will disappear. But do remember to save the bios setting before exit by pressing F10 as shown in this video to remove the CPU fan error warning message. Snowhill Junior Member Joined: Jan 30, 2007 Messages: 9 Likes Received: 0 I have an Asus P5B Deluxe MOBO and Core 2 Duo 6300. Everything is running fine except that on boot up I occasionally get CPU Fan fail error. It's just a message, as I saw with two own eyes that CPU fan is infact running. And the Asus mobo utility (PC probe) also detects that the CPU is working. Is there any way to fix this? Also, my chasis fan sometimes has problem getting detected by PC probe... But all the fans are working properly. Any ideas? #1 Snowhill, Feb 6, 2007 (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Loading...
