Dec 17, 2011 #1 stuartw102 n00bie Messages: 20 Joined: Jul 17, 2007 I have https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1006064 suddenly been getting a CPU fan error, press f1 to continue message. When i press f1 it goes to a black screen with a flashing white line and just sits there, never loading the os. I have disabled the cpu fan monitor in the bios but i still seem to get the message. Any ideas? Everything is running fine except that on boot up I occasionally get CPU Fan fail error. It's just cpu fan a message, as I saw with two own eyes that CPU fan is infact running. And the Asus mobo utility (PC probe) also detects that the CPU is working. Is there any way to fix this? Also, my chasis fan sometimes has problem getting detected by PC probe...
