(I am using Windows 7 Professional on my PC) and now that there was an update (that continues to fail), I get a message saying "Error acrobat error 1606 1324. The path my documents or the volume is invalid. Please reenter it again." I have no idea what to do to fix this - "reenter it" where?. I am also having problems with Acrobat crashing my Outlook. I think the update may fix this problem but so far every time my computer tries to update Acrobat, it fails. Please help. In my case, The Domain Admin has rights to the USERS folder I listed in the My Documents redirection path. A Domain User does not. A Domain User has full rights ONLY to their User Folder (The USERNAME) part. By giving the Domain Users READ access to the

When attempting to uninstall specific updates of "Adobe Acrobat 7.0.1(and 2) and Reader 7.0.1(and 2) Update" I receive the pop up message "Error 1324. Here is a lengthy document on how to fix the issue by running Regedit (method 1)http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894510Alternatively here is another articlehttp://windowsxp.mvps.org/err1324.htmPlease read this and follow the link to "Reset the Shell Folders paths to defaults". From there there is a link on how to backup the registry. Very advisable that you do this before editing the registry. There is a lot of info on that last page. What you need is the regfix. Right click on the following link and "save as". http://windowsxp.mvp...hellfolders.regonce it's downloaded just double click on the file. It will prompt you about modifying your registry. This is what we want to do. This alternative fix will reset your shell folders back to default. It may actually be easier and simpler to follow Method 1 in the microsoft article to fix the "specific issue" without resorting to reseting all of your settings. Please let me know if you have any questions. 0 #3 Stymied Posted 22 July 2007 - 09:38 PM Stymied New Member Topic Starter Member 8 posts Thank you Starja
