I made the following Registry change so that the default for My Pictures will download to Drive D: Original Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/User Shell Folders I changed the entry from: %USERPROFILE%\MY DOCUMENTS\MY PICTURES To: %USERPROFILE%\D:\Photos Everything worked well, the new folder on Drive D became the default folder. However, whenever I tried to install any new programs, I would get Error 1324 the path D:\ contains an invalid character. Is there any way I can make D:\Photos the default folder to replace C:\My Documents\My Pictures and not get Error 1324? Thanks for any help.
