Why this is http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/solved-error-1324-the-folder-path-program-files-contains-an-invalid-character-471824.html happening This error may be caused by: An invalid character in QuickBooks installation path An incorrect path setting in the Windows registry Not enough disk space: Insufficient hard drive error 1324 space available to install the QuickBooks program How to fix it Restart your computer, and reinstall QuickBooks. Confirm that at least 2.5 GB of disk space is available for installing QuickBooks. On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window. Note the amount of free space shown in the window next to the drive letter where QuickBooks is error 1324 the being installed: If the amount of free space is less than 1 GB, free up disk space before installing QuickBooks or install QuickBooks on a different drive. If the amount of free space is greater than 1 GB, proceed with step 2. Remove invalid characters from the QuickBooks installation path: On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window. Navigate to the path shown in the error: If there are non-alphanumeric characters in the name of any folder in the installation path, right-click the folder and select Rename to remove them, and then reinstall QuickBooks.
