Why this is happening This error may be caused by: An invalid character in QuickBooks installation path An incorrect path setting in the Windows registry Not enough disk space: Insufficient hard drive space available to install the QuickBooks program How to fix it Restart your computer, and reinstall QuickBooks. Confirm that at least 2.5 GB error 1324 of disk space is available for installing QuickBooks. On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window. Note the amount of free space shown in the window next to the drive letter where QuickBooks is being installed: If the amount of free space is less than 1 GB, free up disk space before installing QuickBooks or install QuickBooks on a different drive.
